The idea of defining the heartwood side of the board by its
cup preceded the development of the measuring system ARGUS
Kontur. For a perfect determination it is essential
to detect the cup from at least 0.2 mm.
ARGUS Kontur is based on a calibrated
camera/laser measuring unit which can be integrated easily
in nearly each cross transport.
